Croatian Academic Sports Federation Marks 30th Milestone Anniversary

The Croatian Academic Sports Federation (CASF) marked a significant milestone in its history with the celebration of its 30th anniversary on February 7, 2024[^1]. Esteemed guests graced the event, including Mr. Zoran Milanović, President of Croatia, Mrs. Nikolina Brnjac, Minister of Tourism and Sports, and Professor Dragan Ljutić, President of the Croatian Rector’s Conference[^1]. Leonz Eder, President of FISU, conveyed his warm congratulations to CASF through a letter, praising the Federation for its contributions to university sports on local, regional, and global scales[^1]. CASF has been recognized within FISU for hosting several prestigious events, including the 14th Summer Universiade and World University Championships in Rowing and Kayak in 1998, as well as the World University Championships in Bridge in 2014[^1].

Looking ahead, CASF is preparing to host the FISU World University Championships Cheerleading in Split and the FISU World Forum in Zagreb in early August of this year[^1].
